WHAT KIND OF HERB DO YOU LIKE?
For me, I like Turmeric (“Kha-min” in Thai).Turmeric is a culinary spice, a major ingredient in Indian curries, and the source of American mustard’s bright yellow color. Used as both medicine and food for centuries, accumulating evidence suggests that this relative of ginger is a promising preventive agent for a wide range of diseases, probably due largely to its anti-inflammatory properties. Curcumin is the chief active component of turmeric, and is usually taken as a supplement. Research indicates that: 1.Curcumin seems to delay liver damage in some instances that can eventually lead to cirrhosis.

2.Turmeric reduces levels of heterocyclic amines – carcinogenic compounds that are formed when meats are barbecued, boiled or fried – by up to 40 percent. 3.Curcumin inhibits the growth of a skin cancer (melanoma) and also slows the spread of breast cancer into the lungs. 4.Turmeric that is part of daily curries eaten in India may help explain the low rate of Alzheimer’s disease in that country. Among people aged 70 to 79, the rate is less than one-quarter that of the United States. Turmeric is a member of the ginger family, and provides yellow colouring for Thai food. The rhizomes contain a 3-4% volatile oil with unique aromatic characteristics. Turmeric’s therapeutic properties manifest as a carminative, antiflatulence and stomachic. Kullasatree 010 3EN

HOW DO YOU WASH YOUR FACE PROPERLY?
The goal of face washing is to unclog pores and to dissolve dirt, makeup and remove excess oils. You may not realize that this is also a great opportunity to slough off dead skin cells by exfoliating.Lastly, have you considered the route you take? Begin washing your face starting at your forehead and work your way to your nose, then outwards to your cheeks and eventually down to your face and neck. A proper face wash is a really simple way to maintain the health of your skin. To read my easy four-step process and tips on how to wash your face, read more

STEP 1: Begin by washing your hands. (You don’t want all of the grease, grime and germs from your hands on your face, do you?) And, if you have on any eye makeup, remove it before you begin to cleanse.

STEP 2: Wet your face completely with tepid water. Anything too hot will shock the skin and could even burst capillaries, resulting in those sensitive red marks usually found around the nose and cheeks. Next, squeeze a dime-sized amount of cleanser onto your fingertips and rub them together. Use your fingertips to massage the cleanser into your skin (anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute) in small and gentle circular motions.

STEP 3: One of the best ways to ensure that dirt and makeup are removed is by using a muslin cloth when you rinse. In addition, if you gently scrub in small circles, the cloth also acts as a light exfoliant! Also, don’t forget to rinse your hairline, your neck and the nooks on either side of your nose.

STEP 4: Finish by splashing your face two to three times with cool water (not freezing cold—again, you don’t want to shock your face) to close your pores and then pat your skin dry with a clean towel.

WHAT ARE THE NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF FAST FOODS?
Fast food, it’s another word for an unhealthy meal. It’s convenient, quick and cheap and no preparation is needed. It’s the reason why many adults and children settle for this option of eating, but it’s also the reason why many of us are so unhealthy. Fast food includes burgers, pizzas, fries, chips, noodles and pasta, and fish. These food have been processed and refined in such a way that they loss most of the key nutrients and they are zero in fiber as well as they have poor water content.Problems caused by Fast Food: Fast food are poor on digestive tract because to digest food in mouth and stomach we need enzymes and fast food does not have them when food is absorbed by the intestine it again needs enzymatic activity and lastly when it is in large intestine it needs fiber and water to excrete but they don’t have such nutrients. WHY DO YOU LIKE PLAYING VOLLEYBALL?
Playing volleyball can benefit your body in many ways. The maneuvers performed during an average game or practice serve to tone your frame, as well as strengthen your heart and lungs. Also, volleyball players often experience sense of team camaraderie that makes the sport an exuberant way to get fit. By practicing the typical techniques and skills of the game, you can significantly enhance your total physical well-being. The key benefits for me to start playing volleyball are:

Exercise:Volleyball players are always in good shape, as they are constantly running, jumping, diving, swinging their arms and bending their knees.

Teamwork:Volleyball offers all the lessons of team sports at a young age. You need to work as a team, whether playing doubles or six player, and if you don’t work together, you lose. Players learn the benefits of encouraging teammates and working together to improve.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT “CREATIVE PERSON”?
The question that I find myself asking is whether creativity is tied to personality type or whether it can be learned .My own uneducated answer to this question is ‘yes’. Some people are just creative. They don’t train themselves to think like they do and they often don’t even know that they are any different from the rest of us, it’s just who they are. However I believe that we can all enhance our ability to be creative over time.

HOW CAN YOU PROTECT YOURSELF FROM SUNLIGHT?
For me,I apply sunscreen every day be fore I go outside. And I have nine ways to protect yourself from the sun to tell you

• Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors, even on cloudy days.

• Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses that Block 99-100% of UV Radiation when outdoors.

• Avoid tanning beds.

IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO GO ABROAD, HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR THE TRIP?
There are some important steps to take in preparation for travel to a foreign country. I’ve 10 steps help me to be properly prepared for anything. Make sure you write down important information with pen and paper. Don’t reply on a flash drive or other technology to always work. Nothing beats pen and paper.

1 Email travel documents to yourself, including your passport. Keep a printed copy of your hotel reservation, airline tickets, and similar documents. However, you should also email this information to yourself. If it gets lost, you can run to a net-cafe and retrieve the information again. In case it is lost or stolen, scan the important pages of your passport into your PC and mail them to yourself. It won’t replace your lost passport, but the printed copy will allow you to check into a hotel while your passport is
being replaced. This also makes it easier at the US embassy when you go to request the replacement.

2 Print a map of your destination hotel and area, and make a note of alternate hotels in the area. You never know what mishap may occur. Either your reservation is lost, or maybe the hotel is just not suitable. Have a second hotel choice in mind. Also print the map in the local language, in case you need to show it to a taxi driver.

3 Find the US Embassy on a map and note the local phone number to its offices. In case of an emergency, you want these numbers to be handy. Most US embassies are less than helpful, but it’s good to at least have their information.

4 Look up the average currency exchange rate. On the day of a trip to Europe, if the average rate of the Euro is 1.2850 that day vs. the USD, then you’ll be able to avoid the exchange counters offering 1.2700 (and these overpriced exchange services do exist). You won’t get the actual interbank rate anywhere, but you can at least look for rates closer to 1.2825 or near.

5 Have 2 (or even 3) ATM cards in your possession. This may mean opening an extra bank account, but do it. Trust me, you can never have enough ATM cards during travel. Invariably at least one will get eaten by a foreign ATM. You will need back-up cards to access your cash. I carry 4 ATM cards that access a variety of checking and savings accounts back in the US. You can never be too prepared. While ATM machines exist all over the world, not all merchants accept credit or debit cards, and almost no one accepts Discover or American Express outside the US.

6 Check the voltage requirement in your travel country. Many use 220 instead of 110. Make sure your electric hairdryer won’t blow a circuit at the hotel. Most PC notebooks can switch between the two, so you can plug in your computer almost anywhere on the globe. However, nothing else will switch for you. You’ll need special adapters.

7 Look up Visa information. See if your destination country needs you to get a visa, or if you get a “visa on arrival” stamp when you land. How many days will this get you? Some countries only give you a 14 days stamp. If your vacation is 20 days, then you’ll need to get a tourist visa for the extra days, or pop into another country for a few days. Either way, look into the information.

8 Do you take any medicines? If you do, look into hospitals or pharmacies near your hotel. Be prepared to get a replacement for your medicine, if it’s lost or stolen. Bring both your medicine and your prescription.

9 Contact your banks and let them know you’ll be traveling and using your credit and debit cards in another country. This will prevent them from canceling your card. On one of my trips to Singapore, the bank panicked after I made a purchase. They tried to call me or reach me by email, but I was sleeping (due to the 12 hour time difference). After a few hours, they canceled my card. This meant my card was useless for the rest of the trip. They offered to Fed Ex a new card within 3 days, but I was returning in four. Just make sure you alert them before you leave for you trip.

10 Open a Skype, Yahoo Voice, or other pc voice account, if you don’t already have one. This will make life easier for you, if you need to contact anyone back home. If you need to call the bank, for example, it’s a lot easier on Skype than on a $2 per minute calling card. Your cell phone won’t work, unless it’s geared for all regions, and even then it’s expensive.

HOW CAN YOU PROTECT YOUR COMPUTER FROM VIRUSES?
Protecting your computer from viruses and other threats isn’t difficult, but you have to be diligent. Here are some actions you can take:
1. Install an antivirus program. Installing an antivirus program and keeping it up to date can help defend your computer against viruses. Antivirus programs scan for viruses trying to get into your email, operating system, or files. New viruses appear daily, so set your antivirus software to install updates automatically.

2. Don’t open email attachments unless you’re expecting them. Many viruses are attached to email messages and will spread as soon as you open the email attachment. It’s best not to open any attachment unless it’s something you’re expecting. For more information, see When to trust an email message.

3. Keep your computer updated. Microsoft releases security updates that can help protect your computer. Make sure that Windows receives these updates by turning on Windows automatic updating. For more information, see Turn automatic updating on or off.

4. Use a firewall.‌ Windows Firewall (or any other firewall) can help alert you to suspicious activity if a virus or worm attempts to connect to your computer. It can also block viruses, worms, and hackers from attempting to download potentially harmful programs to your computer.

5. Use your browser’s privacy settings. Being aware of how websites might use your private information is important to help prevent fraud and identity theft. If you’re using Internet Explorer, you can adjust your Privacy settings or restore the default settings whenever you want. For details, see Change Internet Explorer 9 privacy settings.

6. Use a pop-up blocker with your browser. Pop-up windows are small browser windows that appear on top of the website you’re viewing. Although most are created by advertisers, they can also contain malicious or unsafe code. A pop-up blocker can prevent some or all of these windows from appearing.

7. The Pop-up Blocker feature in Internet Explorer is turned on by default. To learn more about changing its settings or turning it on and off, see Change Internet Explorer 9 privacy settings.
8. Turn on User Account Control (UAC). When changes are going to be made to your computer that require administrator-level permission, UAC notifies you and gives you the opportunity to approve the change. UAC can help keep viruses from making unwanted changes. To learn more about turning on UAC and adjusting the settings, see Turn User Account Control on or off.

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE ACTOR ?
My favorite actor is Mr. Bean, who is a grown man and seems to have been literally born yesterday. He gets up to ingenious oddball nonsense every episode while all the time remaining silent. When he does speak, it’s with a croaky voice. The first episode of the original Mr. Bean series starring Rowan Atkinson was first broadcast on 1st January 1990. Since then Mr. Bean has become known all over the world. Created by Rowan Atkinson, Richard Curtis and Robin Driscoll, there were only 14 episodes ever made. The original series emerged from Rowan Atkinson’s stage revues of the 1980’s which featured the silent odd-ball. Rowan Atkinson’s comic acting genius has created a highly original work for television.

The Mr. Bean series has been sold to 190 territories worldwide and has won an International Emmy and the Golden Rose of Monteux. In 2002 the character was transformed into an animated series of 26 half hour episodes. The series remains entirely faithful to the original Mr Bean, with the character still living very much in the real world. Rowan Atkinson provides all of Mr Bean’s vocal sounds. The Animated Series has heralded a new era for one of the UK’s most successful characters of all time. Rowan Atkinson worked on the transformation to animated character and acted out every episode in front of the cameras so that the animators could capture the unique movement of Britain’s most infamous character.

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM PLACE?
My dream place is The Great Barrier Reef, Australia
One of the natural wonders of the world, the Great Barrier Reef off the east coast of Australia is the world’s largest coral reef. The Great Barrier Reef is a site of remarkable variety and beauty on the north-east coast of Australia. It contains the world’s largest collection of coral reefs, with 400 types of coral, 1,500 species of fish and 4,000 types of mollusc. It also holds great scientific interest as the habitat of species such as the dugong (‘sea cow’) and the large green turtle, which are threatened with extinction.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FRUITS?
My favorite fruits are mango and mangosteen. Mangosteen is actually one of
the healthiest fruits in the world. It is known as a powerful antioxidant, fighting against free radicals which damage cells. There are around 200 different types of antioxidant which come in all different kinds of fruits and vegetables. Mangosteen juices possess 43 of them! This makes the health benefit of mangosteen enormous!

And mango fruit is rich in pre-biotic dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals, and poly-phenolic flavonoid antioxidant compounds.Mango fruit is an excellent source of Vitamin-A and flavonoids like beta-carotene, alpha-carotene, and beta-cryptoxanthin.It is also a very good source of vitamin-B6 (pyridoxine), vitamin-C and vitamin-E. Consumption of foods rich in vitamin C helps the body develop resistance against infectious agents and scavenge harmful oxygen-free radicals. Vitamin B-6 or pyridoxine is required for GABA hormone production within the brain. It also controls homocystiene levels within the blood, which may otherwise be harmful to blood vessels resulting in CAD and stroke.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOR?
For me, My favorite color is pink(a quiet color). Pink is the color of universal love. The color pink represents compassion, nurturing and love. It relates to unconditional love and understanding, and the giving and receiving of nurturing.A combination of red and white, pink contains the need for action of red, helping it to achieve the potential for success and insight offered by white. It is the passion and power of red softened with the purity, openness and completeness of white. The deeper the pink, the more passion and energy it exhibits.Pink is feminine and romantic, affectionate and intimate, thoughtful and caring. It tones down the physical passion of red replacing it with a gentle loving energy.

WHAT ARE GOOD AND BAD POINTS OF THE INTERNET?
Internet is a source of badness too. Teenagers are badly influenced by pornography and drugs. Videos about gangsters have led them to graffiti and not environmental habits. Children can be lured into foolish things. Criminals can also trick children through chat sites. Many of the usual internet problems depend on security and browser rather than connections
itself. Internet is a place where you can communicate with other people online.

The World Wide Web is a place for education. Children can go online to prepare for their future school years. Hence, adults can go to extended school. Students can research for their reports and teachers could double check their facts. You could communicate with friends and family across the world. Not only can you have a better education, the internet can entertain you too. You could check out the latest music videos or iTunes. Many apple devices are useless without internet too. Stockers need to use the internet regularly to check their money as well as bankers, agents, and managers. The internet is a place to share innovations and create movies to move the economy. Other people can give you ideas. It gives you help drawing, sculpting, or music. Self improvement is a self goal so it is important to have it in your life. In conclusion, internet has become a great part of the twenty-first century. Even though it has some downsides, there are many benefits too. It should be accessible anywhere. It is greatly needed and used. Imagine how it would be like if we had no internet.

HOW DOES FACEBOOK EFFECTS RELATIONSHIPS?
Facebook is certainly having a peculiar effect on relationships. You hear the scare stories of people breaking up with someone as a result of finding a dodgy photo or seeing your current partner change their status to ‘single’ as the first that you hear of it. Facebook has changed many aspects of human behaviour and connectivity, but it’s also affecting relationships in ways we couldn’t have predicted, providing a very modern approach to the connection with your loved one.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE MONEY FAST?
The most common way that most young people get money is through an allowance. Not every teen gets one, of course, and your parents’ beliefs or financial situation might mean you get little or nothing. According to various surveys, the average allowance for teens is anywhere from 350 baht to 450 baht per week. If yours is a lot lower, perhaps try negotiating a raise.

Here are some more ways to get money:

1. From your family. Your parents might pay you for getting good grades in school, or for reading a certain number of books, or for doing various jobs around the house. You might even earn some money from siblings, if you offer to do some of their chores.

2. Selling things. If your closet or basement is full of belongings that you no longer need or want, consider selling them. (These might include toys, games, comics, and clothes. Don’t get rid of things you have a strong attachment to, though, such as your old Furby or your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lunchbox.) You could hold a yard sale in your neighborhood. You might even offer to sell other people’s knickknacks, for a small fee or a percentage of the price. Another option is selling items online, such as on eBay.

3. A job! This is perhaps the most obvious way to earn money, and teens frequently land part-time or full-time summer jobs.

WHAT ARE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES IN CITY LIFE?
Living in the city has both advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side it is often easier to find work, and there is usually a choice of public transport, so you don”t need to own a car. Also, there are a lot of interesting things to do and places to see. For example, you can eat in good restaurants, visit museums, and go to the theater and to concerts. What is more, when you want to relax, you can usually find a park where you can feed the ducks or just sit on a park bench and read a book. All in all ,city life is full of bustle and variety and you never feel bored.

However, for every plus there is a minus. For one thing, you might have a job, but unless it is very well-paid, you will not be able to afford many of the things that there are to do, because living in a city is often very expensive. It is particularly difficult to find good, cheap accommodation. What is more, public transport is sometimes crowded and dirty, particularly in the rush hour, and even the parks can become very crowded, especially on Sundays when it seems that every city-dweller is looking for some open space and green grass. Last of all despite all the crowds, it possible to feel very lonely in a city. In conclusion, I think that city life can be particular appealing to young people, who like the excitement of the city and don”t mind the noise and pollution. However, many people, when they get older, and particularly when they have young children, often prefer the peace and fresh air of the countryside.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE YOUR BRAIN SMARTER?
Your brain needs exercise just like a muscle. If you use it often and in the right ways, you will become a more skilled thinker and increase your ability to focus. But if you never use your brain, or abuse it with harmful chemicals, your ability to think and learn will deteriorate.

Here are 5 simple ways anyone can squeeze a bit more productivity out of the old gray matter.

1. Minimize Television Watching – This is a hard sell. People love vegetating in front of the television, myself included more often than I’d like. The problem is watching television doesn’t use your mental capacity OR allow it to recharge. It’s like having the energy sapped out of a muscle without the health benefits of exercise.

2. Exercise – I used to think that I’d learn more by not exercising and using the time to read a book instead. But I realized that time spent exercising always leads to greater learning because it improves productivity during the time afterwards.

3. Read Challenging Books – Many people like to read popular suspense fiction, but generally these books aren’t mentally stimulating. If you want to improve your thinking and writing ability you should read books that make you focus.

4. Early to Bed, Early to Rise – Nothing makes it harder to concentrate than sleep deprivation. You’ll be most rejuvenated if you go to bed early and don’t sleep more than 8 hours. If you stay up late and compensate by sleeping late, you’ll wake up lethargic and have trouble focusing. In my experience the early morning hours are the most tranquil and productive. Waking up early gives you more productive hours and maximizes your mental acuity all day.

If you have the opportunity, take 10-20 minute naps when you are hit with a wave of drowsiness. Anything longer will make you lethargic, but a short nap will refresh you.

5. Take Time to Reflect – Often our lives get so hectic that we become overwhelmed without even realizing it. It becomes difficult to concentrate because nagging thoughts keep interrupting. Spending some time alone in
reflection gives you a chance organize your thoughts and prioritize your responsibilities. Afterwards, you’ll have a better understanding of what’s important and what isn’t. The unimportant stuff won’t bother you anymore and your mind will feel less encumbered.

HOW CAN YOU GET RID OF ACNE?
The first thing that would pop into someone’s mind on how to get rid of acne is the expenses. Not all people realize that the best answer on how to get rid of acne is to consider changes in their lifestyle. Start the change like keeping your pillowcase neat and away from germs. Facing your wash can also do the job on how to get rid of acne, but it’s not enough. Here are a few easy ways on how to get rid of acne:

-Swap your pillowcase more often. Depending on the severity of acne, you need to change your routing when swapping your pillowcase so that you will be successful on how to get rid of acne.

HOW CAN YOU SAVE ENERGY AT HOME OR DECREASE USING ELECTRICITY?
Concerned about energy suppliers’ consumption of fossil fuels? Want to see a few more bucks in the bank at the end of every month? Looking for creative ways to punish your teenage kids? Regardless of your reasons, cutting back on your energy usage at home has very few downsides. Best of all, most energy-saving methods are easy to implement and go a very long way. To save energy in your home, try these tips and techniques. Steps: Reduce Your
Consumption

-Turn down the thermostat. Turning your thermostat down by just 1 degree can reduce your energy consumption by over 5%. You won’t even notice the difference in room temperature. On the same note, don’t heat rooms when you are not using them.

-Decrease the hot water temperature. Your hot water thermostat needn’t be higher than 60 degrees centigrade (140 degrees Fahrenheit). Any higher and you will only be mixing it with cold water to cool it back down for use.

-Wash economically. Only use the washing machine when you have collected a full load. If you must wash a partial load, use the economy or half load setting. Also, modern washers work just as effectively at 40 degrees Centigrade (100 F) as they do at 60 (140 F), but the reduced temperature will make a difference in terms of energy used. -Reuse water coming out of the tap that would drain otherwise. When you turn on the tap to wait for hot water, for example, put a container under the tap until the water is warm enough and then use the water in the container to water plants or use for other purposes.

Prevent Energy Loss
-Prevent drafts. In an average house, up to 50 percent of heat is lost through drafts. To test an area, simply hold the palm of your hand up against a door or window. If you feel cold air coming through, warm air is escaping. This is simple to fix and can save you hundreds on your yearly heating bill.

-Turn off appliances and lighting. Turn off any appliances you are not using, especially by switching off lights when you leave the room. Don’t leave fridge or freezer doors open for longer than necessary, and don’t forget that your freezer needs to be defrosted regularly for it to run efficiently.

-Turn off your computer. Leaving the screen saver on will not save any energy. Screen savers can use more energy than when you are using the computer yourself and can reduce the life of your monitor. Instead, enable the display blanking feature to automatically turn off the monitor when your computer is idle. You can save $50-$100 per year by enabling your computer to ‘sleep’ automatically when you are not using.

-Insulate. Up to a third of your home heating escapes through the roof. Prevent this by insulating. Not only is it simple to do, but it’s also the most cost efficient energy saving measure you can make. If you don’t already have it, invest in cavity-wall insulation. This will prevent another third of your heat escaping.

Take Advantage hi of Energy-Saving Programs and Technologies
-Look for grants available to help make your home energy efficient. Saving energy is such a vital issue that grants are now becoming more readily available to help you make the necessary home improvements. -Use energy-efficient appliances. From light bulbs to kitchen goods to home entertainment equipment, there are a plethora of energy-efficient appliances now on the market. Amazingly, they can use 50 percent less than other models, and up to a quarter less for light bulbs.

-Switch to eco-friendly energy. Many energy suppliers are now offering power from renewable sources rather than polluting fossil fuels. Do your research to find out which company in your area is offering green energy.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MAKING MERIT?
Making merit means doing good things as mentioned in religious doctrine. Thais’ ways of life, since their birth until their death is so familiar with making merit. They strongly believe they ought to regularly make and gain merit which would bring them happiness, peaceful life and other good things. Gaining merit will strengthen them to overcome any obstacles or misfortune they are suffering. They intend to gain more merit because they also believe their accumulated merit would help them to be in heaven or a peaceful place after their death. Even more merit they gained would help them to reach nirvana (divine peace beyond this world).

Thais’ belief is based on the Buddhist doctrine. The concept is as stated in a Thai proverb “if you do good you will receive good; if you do evil you will receive evil ”. It means the result of Karma which represents the evaluation of all life events, that is, you will receive the outcome of what you have already initiated.

A common rule in making merit is to prepare one’s mind and thoughts. The mind has to be purified and ready. Gaining merit, however, must not bring any trouble or worry to oneself or others. There are three ways of making and gaining merit. They are

1) to give alms
2) to maintain religious commandment, and
3) to pray
If all of these are perfectly met, it represents a great merit making. But most of people see that making merit is to give alms. That is partly true because it is the first step of a fully-gained merit. On this occasion only alms giving will be expressed as it is a very common Thais’ way of life.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF FLASH DRIVES?
USB flash drive
A modern equivalent to the floppy disk, a flash drive (also called USB stick, USBy pen*, pen drive, USB or memory stick) can store thousands times more data and is much more durable (no moving parts). Modern flash drives can store as much data as some old hard drives (back when hard drives had 20GB capacities). A USB flash drive is a mix of old and new. Older data storage technology, combined with modern microprocessor advancements has lead to a cheap, low power data storage medium. Because of its low cost and convenience (just plug in) it has become a very lucrative market.

For transferring data between computers that don’t have a LAN network (like with many multiple computer owners) a USB is a cheap and effective solution. In school networks where pupils can’t send documents to each other (because of administrative rules) a USB is once again the solution. This very essay was done entirely on a USB because it makes it easier to work at home and school. Just as Amazon gained popularity for its convenience so did the flash drive.

The only problem with a USB is its lifespan; flash drives have write cycles which means once the end of a write cycle is reached the USB will stop allowing writing. This means that the USB’s owner will not lose all their data but merely not be able to write any more data to it.

The length of time before this happens varies based on how often a memory stick is used. One used to store an operating system to run a computer off would be constantly written and read making its lifespan considerably less than that of someone who occasionally used their memory stick to transfer a few word documents.

Personally I think the older we get, the more we understand what Love really is, with different levels of attachment, and along with more powerful emotions and feelings to back it.

To me, a Love young in age is mostly lust and/or “love”, meaning that they are content with it, but cannot know the entirety of what really makes it work, and how to keep it there.

One the other hand though, a Love that’s older in age knows what makes it work, because time brings wisdom and knowledge, and self awareness and discipline in the topic.

HOW TO STOP GLOBAL WARMING?
Ways to Stop Global Warming
Owing to the overall rise in the temperature, the glaciers in the Antarctic region begin to melt which has increased the overall sea level. If this situation continues, many low-lying areas will submerge in the near future. Global warming also increases the occurrences of hurricanes.

There are many easy solutions to reduce global warming and its impact. First of all, people should understand the problem and take measures accordingly to save the world. People should reduce the usage of electrical appliances which emits green house gases. For e.g. the refrigerator releases chlorofluro carbon (CFC) and the incandescent light lamp emits 300 pounds of carbon dioxide a year. This can be replaced by a compact fluorescent light bulb which saves much energy.

Follow RRR – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. People should not dump waste products on the ground. Plant products, food waste, vegetable dump undergoes anaerobic decomposition i.e. they break down to produce methane, a green house gas instead of oxygen. Hence the product usage and wastage should be reduced or recycled for a healthy atmosphere.

Trees absorb a large amount of carbon dioxide. Many trees should be planted since they involve in photosynthesis, food preparation with the help of sunlight. During this process, trees absorb carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen. Also, existing forests should be saved and usage of plant byproducts shouldn not be wasted.

Usage of green power prevents 300 kg of carbon dioxide to be emitted into the atmosphere. The electricity obtained from the renewable resources like wind and water is called green power. The cost is also low in case of green power.

Insulation of the ceiling of a house and power saving is the important factor to reduce global warming. The electric appliances should be switched off instead to hold it in stand by mode. This will save more power since stand by mode consumes 40% of the energy.

People should use only energy-efficient appliances. Thermostat should be used for air conditioners since it reduces the temperature automatically. Consumption of organic food should be increased because organic soil absorb large amount of carbon dioxide. Buying local food reduces the consumption of fuel. Cows emits a large amount of methane due to their vegetarian diet. Hence meat consumption should be reduced. Also tetra packs should be used instead of tinned food.

Cover cooking utensils when cooking. Covering food when cooking helps reduce the loss heat and thus, save a lot energy when cooking. You should use more of pressure cookers and steamers as they help save energy up to 70% when cooking. Periodic maintenance of the vehicles helps in efficient usage of fuel and reduces release of green house gases. Proper inflation of tires should be done and fuel wastage should be avoided.

You should wash clothes or dishes in washing machines or dishwashers only when they are full. Do not use machines to wash a few clothes and utensils. If you wash a big load together, you will save a lot of water, electricity as well as energy.

Dry clothes on a clothes line only. Do not use dryers whenever possible as it will help reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released in the atmosphere. Air dried clothes help minimize the loss energy as well. Teach your neighborhood and friends about the cause and impact of global warming and methods to reduce it. Conservation of forests is also important for this purpose. Plant more trees and reduce the amount of paper used at homes and offices. Remember, every paper wasted, means 5 trees cut for nothing!

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE WORD “SMILE” ?
I think a smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so
much as he who has no more to give. Keep Smile!

He is voiced by his creator and the film’s co-director, Chris Sanders. Stitch is a blue, canine-like, alien genetic creation standing around 3 feet tall. He is referred to as a dog throughout much of the franchise. He has a limited ability to change his physical appearance, as he can retract a second set of arms, his claws, his antennae and the three spikes on his back into his body.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO MAKE HAPPINESS
Some people worry that wanting to be happier is a selfish goal. To the contrary. Studies show that happier people are more sociable, likeable, healthy, and productive—and they’re more inclined to help other people. So in working to boost your own happiness, you’re benefiting others as well. Feel happier yet?

1. Boost your energy: stand up and pace while you talk on the phone or, even better, take a brisk ten-minute walk outside. Research shows that when people move faster, their metabolism speeds up, and the activity and sunlight are good for your focus, your mood, and the retention of information. Plus, because of “emotional contagion,” if you act energetic, you’ll help the people around you feel energetic, too.

2. Reach out to friends: make a lunch date or send an email to a friend you haven’t seen in a while. Having warm, close bonds with other people is one of the keys to happiness, so take the time to stay in touch. Somewhat surprisingly, it turns out that socializing boosts the moods not only of extroverts, but also of introverts.

3. Rid yourself of a nagging task: answer a difficult email, purchase something you need, or call to make that dentist’s appointment. Crossing an irksome chore off your to-do list will give you a big rush of energy and cheer, and you’ll be surprised that you procrastinated for so long.

4. Create a calmer environment: clear some physical and mental space around your desk by sorting papers, pitching junk, stowing supplies, sending out quick responses, filing, or even just making your piles neater. A large stack of little tasks can feel overwhelming, but often just a few minutes of work can make a sizeable dent. Try to get in the habit of using the “one minute rule”—i.e., never postpone any task that can be completed in less than one minute. An uncluttered environment will contribute to a more serene mood.

5. Lay the groundwork for some future fun: order a book you’ve been wanting to read (not something you think you should read) or plan a weekend excursion to a museum, hiking trail, sporting event, gardening store, movie theater—whatever sounds like fun. Studies show that having fun on a regular basis is a pillar of happiness, and anticipation is an important part of that pleasure. Try to involve friends or family, as well; people enjoy almost all activities more when they’re with other people than when they’re alone.

6. Do a good deed: make an email introduction of two people who could help each other, or set up a blind date, or shoot someone a piece of useful information or gratifying praise. Do good, feel good—this really works. Also, although we often believe that we act because of the way we feel, in fact, we often feel because of the way we act. When you act in a friendly way, you’ll strengthen your feelings of friendliness for other people.

7. Act happy: put a smile on your face right now, and keep smiling. Research shows that even an artificially induced smile has a positive influence on your emotions—turns out that just going through the motion of happiness brightens your mood. And if you’re smiling, other people will perceive you
as being friendlier and more approachable.

HOW DO YO MAKE YOUR LIFE LIVE LONGER?
I have 3 ways to live a longer life to share with you
Give up smoking

Medial experts tend to agree that giving up smoking is one the most beneficial things you can do to improve your overall health, including extending your life. One cigarette takes 11 minutes off your life, so smoking just 20 cigarettes a day for the past three-and-a-half years has already taken ten years off your life span. Smoking can affect virtually every part of your body. It can be linked to wrinkles, infertility, heart disease, stroke, oral cancer, miscarriage, lung and breast cancer, stomach ulcers and could cause you to lose a limb! For more information about what smoking does to your body, click on the link in the blue box above. But giving up smoking can help you avoid all these major killers. ASH, the anti-smoking campaigners, say that if you stop smoking right now, your blood pressure and heart beat will return to normal within the next 20 minutes. In 24 hours carbon monoxide will be eliminated from your body and after 48 hours there is no nicotine left in your system.

After six months, your lung function will have improved by 10 per cent and 15 years after today, your risk of a heart attack returns to the same level as someone who has never smoked in their life. If you want to quit smoking, you can use nicotine replacement therapies (NRTs) such as patches or chewing gum. According to ASH, studies show that using NRTs can double your chances of quitting successfully than if you used willpower alone. You can also call the NHS Smoking Helpline on 0800 169 0169. The helpline is open seven days a week from 9am to 11pm for information, support and details of local smoking cessation services. Take an anti-ageing supplement

It seems hard to believe that taking a tablet could halt the ageing process, but scientists have now managed to identify a certain compound that could do just that. Carnosine is a naturally occurring chemical produced by the body that can also be found in red meat and in chicken. Scientists believe it works as an antioxidant, tracking down damaging free-radicals and eliminating them. Free-radicals are rogue molecules that our body can pick up from exhaust fumes, smoking or sunbathing. They are also produced as a natural by-product of bodily functions such as breathing. These molecules have been linked to serious diseases such as cancer, heart disease, arthritis and can cause premature ageing.

A number of studies have now discovered that carnosine not only protects cells from damage by free-radicals, but can also rejuvenate ageing cells and help cells continue to function at optimum health. A review of carnosine’s effects on the body by China’s Harbin Medical University, published in 2000, also found that eye drops containing carnosine could delay failing eyesight caused by old age and help restore vision after cataract surgery. For these reasons, researchers believe that carnosine can be used as an anti-ageing drug in humans. Further studies are now being carried out to assess the total impact that the compound could have on the body. You can buy carnosine from major health food stores and leading pharmacists. It may not be available as an individual supplement, but may be included with other anti-ageing treatments in one tablet. Drink some Miso soup

The Japanese are known for their longevity throughout the world and one secret of their long life could be miso soup. Miso is a salty paste made from fermented soybeans, rice or barley, sea salt and help prolong your life probiotic or ‘friendly’ bacteria. The paste is made into a soup by adding hot water. It can also be used as a replacement for soy sauce in other dishes or spread onto bread like Marmite. On the island of Okinawa, whose inhabitants are the world’s longest living population, and in homes all over Japan, miso soup is regularly drunk for breakfast and last thing at night. Scientists believe the health giving properties of miso come from the soybeans.

Soybeans are rich in antioxidants such as vitamin E. Antioxidants track down potentially harmful particles in the body called free radicals and destroy them. Miso soup can also lower high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels by helping the body remove harmful cholesterol from the bloodstream. It can also help maintain a healthy digestive system thanks to the ‘friendly’ bacteria produced by the fermented beans. The National Cancer Institute of Japan recently discovered that drinking miso regularly could cut the death rate from cancer, heart and liver disease, some of the biggest killers in Western society. Scientists believe a certain chemical found in the beans cuts off the blood supply to cancerous cells, starving them of nutrients. You can buy miso soup in dried form, like a packet soup, or as a paste from oriental food stores, larger supermarkets and major health food stores.

WHAT KIND OF BOOK DO YOU LIKE TO READ?
I read a lot of fantasy, some sci-fi, and some other types that catch my eye but not a lot of any other particular genre. I go through periods where I read voraciously, and then months where I read very little (which is where I am now). I have a stack of books loaned to me on my bedside table, but haven’t done much reading since last summer. Kullasatree 010 3EN

DO YOU LIKE TO GO SHOPPING?
Something I like shopping for? I like shopping for everything. I like shopping for clothes. I like shopping for food. I like shopping for presents. Everything. Maybe the one exception would be shopping for DIY things: things like pliers and gardening tools and wallpaper. I’m not really interested in things like that but that’s the exception. Other than that, everything.

WHAT COLOUR DO YOU LIKE?WHY
I like many colors, as well. I’ve always liked white and black, which both reflect and absorbs all colors. I once saw the spectacle of a huge rainbow after a storm that seemed to cross the entire horizon from ground to ground. I wish I had a camera to capture that site. I doubt I will ever see anything like it again. Miraculous to see every ribbon of color distinctly in the bow which filled the sky.

White is very clean, but people do not realize how many shades of white are possible. Black is like a uniform, simplicity, darkness, beauty. Every color goes well with black. They say every woman should have their eloquent black dress with a string of pearls.

It’s hard to choose just one color. Reds are good for accents, but a bit too strong for large solid areas, although I’m sure someone could make it work. For myself, I really like pink Light feminine tones

HOW TO COOK A YUMMY OMELET?
How to make an omelette by me ^^
1. One omelette will serve one person and, because it is so quick to make, it’s not worth cooking a large one for two. So, according to how hungry you are, use 2-3 large eggs per person. For omelettes, the fresher the eggs the better, but up to two weeks old is fine. Just break the eggs carefully into a bowl and season with salt and freshly milled pepper. Blend the egg yolks and whites with a large fork – the number one rule is not to over-mix – no beating or whisking. At this stage you could add some snipped chives or perhaps 1½ oz (40 g) of grated cheese to the eggs if you like. These should be gently combined with the eggs using a fork.

2. The size of the pan is vital: too small and the omelette will be thick, spongy and difficult to fold, too large and the eggs will spread out like a thin pancake and become dry and tough. For a 2- or 3-egg omelette, the base should measure 6 inches (15 cm) in diameter. I recommend using a mixture of oil and butter, ½ teaspoon of each. Place the pan on the heat and let it get quite hot, add the butter and oil and as soon as it melts swirl it round, tilting the pan so that the base and the sides get coated.

3. Turn the heat up to its highest setting – when I first demonstrated this on television I said, ‘As hot as you dare’ and that still stands – then when the butter is foaming, pour the eggs into the pan, tilting it to and fro to spread the eggs evenly over the base. Leave it on the heat without moving it for a count of five.

4. After this time a bubbly frill will appear round the edge. Now you can tilt the pan to 45 degrees and, using a tablespoon, draw the edge of the omelette into the centre. The liquid egg will flow into the space, filling it. Now tip the pan the other way and do the same thing. Keep tilting it backwards and forwards, pulling the edges so that the egg can travel into the space left – all this will only take half a minute.

5. Soon there will be just a small amount of liquid left, just on the surface, so now is the time to start folding. Tilt the pan again and flip one side of the omelette into the centre then fold again. Take the pan to a warm plate and the last fold will be when you tip the omelette on to the plate. Remember, an omelette will go on cooking even on the plate, so serve it immediately. For this reason it is important to have some liquid egg left before you start folding, but if you have left too much, leave it to set on the plate before eating. The perfect omelette is one just tinged with gold on the surface and very soft and squidgy on the inside.

HOW TO STOP GLOBAL WARMING?
Stop Global Warming
Here are 10 simple things you can do to stop or prevent global warming.
1. Change a light : Replace regular bulbs with compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. They consume less power then ordinary bulbs and have longer lifetime. Some countries have completely banned the usage of ordinary bulbs and force the common public to use CFL bulbs.

2. Drive less : By driving less you are not only saving fuel but also helping in reducing global warming. Also, look out for other possibilities, for eg: car pooling. If you have colleagues who live in the same area then you can combine trips. If you need to go to a local market then either walk or go by cycle. Both of them are great form of exercise.

3. Recycle more : Try to use the disposable products into some other form. Just don’t throw them away. You can recycle almost anything for eg: paper, aluminum foils, cans, newspapers. By recycling you can help in reducing landfills .

4. Check your tyres : When you drive make sure your tyres are inflated properly. If not, then obviously they will consume more fuel. Keep your engine properly tuned and drive less aggressively. Aggressive driving and frequent applying of brakes hampers the engine and can lower the mileage of your car.

5. Use less hot water : Buy energy saving geysers and dishwasher for your home. Avoid washing clothes in hot water. Just wash them in cold or warm water. Avoid taking frequent showers and use less hot water. It will help in saving energy require to produce that energy.

6. Avoid products with lot of packaging : Just don’t buy products with lot of packaging. When you buy such products you will end up in throwing the waste material in the garbage, which then will help in filling landfill sites and pollute the environment. Also, discourage others from buying such products.

7. Adjust your thermostat : Geysers consume lot of electricity. Use the thermostat to lower down the temperature. The easiest and most cost effective advice is simply adjusting your thermostat up in the summer and down in the winter.

8. Turn off electronic devices : Turn off electronic devices when you are moving out for a couple of days or more. Unnecessary usage of electronic appliances will not only save fuel i.e. coal by which we get electricity but also increase the lifetime of your gadgets.

9. Plant a tree : Planting trees can help much in reducing global warming then any other method. They not only give oxygen but also take in carbon dioxide, during the process of photosynthesis, which is the main source of global warming.

10. Spread the awareness : Always try your best to educate people about global warming and it’s causes and after affects. Tell them how they can contribute their part by saving energy that will be good for the environment. Gather opportunities and establish programs that will help you to share information with friends, relatives and neighbors.

Weight loss: Unsweetened almond milk helps one to reduce weight. The mono-saturated fat contained in almonds satisfies appetite and prevents over-eating. Studies have revealed that almond rich low calorie diet is good for obese people to assist in shedding their weight.

Prevention of constipation: Almonds are rich in fibre. Like most other fibre rich food, almonds also help in preventing constipation. Make sure you drink good amount of water after eating almonds.

Boosts energy: The presence of manganese, copper and Riboflavin helps in energy production.

One avoids the risk of Alzheimer’s disease by consuming almonds. But just like any other food, even almonds have their cons. They contain oxalates and excessive oxalates can cause crystallization. So people having kidney or gallbladder problems should avoid eating almonds.

WHAT IS THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF RICE?
Health Benefits

As far as calories, carbohydrates, and protein are concerned, both brown and white rice contain similar amounts. However, in terms of vitamins and minerals, brown rice is a good source of vitamins such as Vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B2 (riboflavin) vitamin B3 (niacine), iron, along with magnesium and dietary fiber.

In white rice, many of these nutrients are polished away. In the US, these vitamins and minerals are added back to the rice, and sold as enriched rice.

Rice is a great source of complex carbohydrates which give us the energy we need. According to FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations), rice provides 20 percent of the world’s dietary energy supply.

Rice contains all the amino acids essential for building and maintaining muscle tissue, and make up antibodies, enzymes, and hormones. These amino acids also help maintain healthy skin, hair, eyesight, and nousish the heart, lungs, tendons and ligaments, brain, nervous system and glands.

Other health benefits of brown rice include it’s role in reducing bad cholesterol. Brown rice contains oil in its outer layer (bran), and studies show that this oil can help lower bad cholesterol (LDL).

Early oriental writings mention the calming and soothing effect of brown rice which has been confirmed by modern science. In ancient literature of Thailand, China, India, and Burma, rice is mentioned as a source of health, and brown rice as a healing food. In these cultures, rice is considered as a source of divine health and is used in religious offerings.

The B-complex vitamins in brown rice, especially thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin provide youthful energy, and nourish the skin and blood vessels.

Rice is low in fat, cholesterol, and sodium and hence makes a perfect food for those with high blood pressure and requiring a low-sodium diet. The calcium in rice (especially brown rice) helps lower blood pressure.

White rice is one of the easiest and quickest foods to digest requiring only an hour to completely digest it. As such, rice is an ideal health food for those who are debilitated and weak and require easy assimilation and quick energy. Because of the low fiber content, white rice is very soothing to the digestive system and rice gruels along with buttermilk are recommended for digestive disorders such as diarrhea, dysentery, morning sickness, colitis, and jaundice.

Rice powder is also used externally as a soothing powder in cases of skin inflammation such as small-pox, measles, prickly heat, burns and scalds.

To sum it up, rice is an important part of a healthy diet. To derive the maximum benefit from it, include unpolished or brown and wild rice varieties as often as you can in your meals along with white rice.

DO YOU KNOW ABOUT HEALTH BENEFITS OF BROCCOLI?
The health benefits of broccoli lie in the abundant antioxidants, vitamins, phytonutrients, and fiber it provides. This relative of cabbage gets its name from ancient Romans who thought it looked like a miniature tree and hence called it “brachium”, which, in Latin, means branch.

Broccoli is a rich source of vitamin C (containing more of this vitamin than an orange) and beta carotene, and is a good source of vitamin A. These vitamins and carotenoids such as lutein and zeaxanthin in broccoli act as antioxidants that protect cells from damage, reducing the risk of age-related degenerative diseases like cataract and heart disease, as well as several types of cancer including breast and lung cancer.

Broccoli is very beneficial for heart health.

Broccoli’s heart-healthy effects have been attributed to its high concentrations of a protein call thioredoxin that has been shown to prevent the muscle damage caused when the heart is deprived of oxygen.

Broccoli is also very low in calorie; so if you’re on a weight-loss diet, it’s good to include this vegetable along with physical exercise, whether yoga, or something fun like the masala bhangra workout.

Broccoli is a powerhouse of nutrients for good health. To derive the maximum health benefits from broccoli, eat it raw, steamed, stir-fried or cooked in the microwave. Boiling it seems to damage its cancer-fighting properties.
